The latest application of microwave so far and its future prospects were explained to the students by Mr.O.P.N.Kalla on 19^th March 2005. delivered a lecture on 12^th March, 2005.

With a view to guide the final year students to enable them to face interviews successfully before the corporate world Mr.Manish Shukla delivered a lecture on 12^th March, 2005.

An invited lecturer was delivered on the subject by Sh S.R.Avasthi, Addl. Gen.Manager BHEL, Bhopal on 12^th Feb., 2005. It enlightened the faculty as well as students about the alternative sources of energy and their optimum utilization.

The Inspirator of the motto, Sh Rajeev Dixit, address the students on 23^rd August 2004 with the aim of instilling patriotism in the hearts of the youth of today. He highlighted the economical drawbacks and health hazards of using products manufactured by MNCs and laid stress on the consumption of Indian products.

Flight LieutenantNilesh Gupta (India Air Force) and Captain. Mohit Nigam (Indan Army) spoke extensively on "How to Appear in SSB, Exams" on 20^th Jan., 2005 for benefit of around 20 students who qualified for the same during UES Screening process. The lecture was well appreciated and was mind blowing. Interactive session followed by a lecture on career opportunities in Indian Air Force provided an insight into the defense aspects. Students could clear their doubts related to defense sector as a career. It also inspired students to join the armed forces.

Dr Kinshuk, Associate Professor, Information System, Massey University, New Zealand discoursed on the subject on 17^th Jan., 2003. It apprised our students & faculty of the introduction of Artificial Intelligence and its learning in various branches and it helped the students to understand the basic concepts of supervised and unsupervised learning in various application areas like space, weather forecasting etc.

A lecture was delivered by Prof.Y.N.Gaur, MNIT, Jaipur on 22^nd January, 2003. He discussed the motion of projectiles under the action of gravitational force, the various types of forces like centripetal & centrifugal force and few facts of escape velocity in constrained environment.

Prof.O.P.N.Kalla, ex-deputy director communication area SAC, Ahemdabad spoke on all types of satellites like geo-stationary satellites. LEO, MEOs on 4 April, 2003. he discussed about up-like and down-like frequencies which are used to avoid interfernces which are used to avoid interfernces, the number of Geo-stationary used for Global Communication. he also opined about Pont to point and Point to Multipoint communication and highlighted the pros and cons of satellites.

The II year students and faculty members were greatly benefitted by the lecture delivered by Dr. P.N.Gupta (Retired Professor) from J.N.Vyas University, Jodhpur on 7, 8 Oct. 2003. He said that queuing theory is very beneficial in area like Internet traffic theory and shortest path calculations. He also highlighted the Binomial, poisson, and Normal distributions. He explained the use of Queuing Networks, the basic expressions for average waiting time, average service time under restricted and unrestricted conditions.

In January 2003 I Yr. (2002 Batch) was taken to KTPS (Kota Thermal Power Station), under the guidance of Mr.Bharat Gupta and Mr.A.Chaturvedi. The industrial tour was organized in Jan 2004, and 240 students participated in it 180 students of II Yr. were taken to Instrumentation Limited, Kota in Feb, 2004. 180 students of III Yr. Were taken to RAPS (Rajasthan Atomic Power Station), Rawatbhata in February, 2004

Our II Yr. Students (All Branches) have undergone industrial training in very good companies like B.S.N.L., I.L., DSCL, CFCL, BHEL (Bhopal, Jhansi), Western Railways, NIC Kota, NTPC, Akashwani , RTL, Pixel etc. With these trainings all the students have been benefited .

GAURAV JAIN, student of Information Technology VIII semester actively attended the Oxfam International Youth Parliament 2004 (OIYP) held from July 4^th to 12^th Sydney which brought together 306 young leaders from 96 countries to develop dynamic solutions to key local, natural and global issue.

He was slected through a rigorous and highly competitive process involving over 2200 applicants from across the globe and delivered a lecture on "Commitment to social justice, education and Human right awareness".

Final year BE students of our Institute attended a seminar on "Emerging Future Technology at Institute of Information Technology, (IIT) Pune on 15^th Feb., 2005. MIT was the only college from Rajasthan thata was invited at the seminar. Eminent personalities delivered lectures on the occasion related to topics like Convergence in Telecom, Post Technology Education & Career Management, Intergrated Management Education etc. The seminar provided the students with a foretaste of the technical savvy world they are going to enter after graduation.

The following students, under the guidance of Mr.Amit Gupta, Lecturer (E&CE) got the golden opportunity to visit the Institute.

An AICTE sponsored faculty development programme for Engineering Colleges was conducted jointly by Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre, jaipur and Indian Heritage Academy, Bangalore from 10^th to 14^th January 2004 at Jaipur. Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Tiwari interacted on issues such as reorienting technical education, organization and management of Engineering Colleges.

The national seminar on "Institutional Governance" was organized on 26, 27 Feb, 2004 at FORE School of Management, New Delhi and was sponsored by AICTE. The Seminar discussed the role of Board of Governance, role of entrepreneurship in education, academic administration and finacial management of academic Institutions. The seminar was meant for Vice Chancellor, Directors, Principals of Institution and was attended by Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Tiwari

Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Tiwari delivered several expert/extension lectures in many Engineering Institutions in the county, such as Institute of Technology and Managment, Gwalior, MITS, Gwalior and MANIT, Bhopal, Techno-crat Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Institute of Technology and Management, Bhilwara etc. He dealt with several subjects during his expert lectures including Satellite Communications and Integrated Networks & Systems.meant for Vice Chancellor, Directors, Principals of Institution and was attended by Prof. (Dr.) P.S. Tiwari.

A seminar entitled "National Seminar on 50 Years of Atomic Energy in India" was attended by 12 faculty members of MIT, Kota on 11 Jan 2004 of various deptts. held at Instrumentation Ltd. Auditorium, Kota organized by RAPP, Rawatbhata - Kota was attended by 12 faculty members of various departments on 11th Jan. 2004
