The Institute is situated in a serene atmosphere in the midst of nature, outside the hustle and bustle of Kota City, spread in an area of 16 acres. The present ground coverage and instructional areas are 9994 M² and 5907 M² respectively. Laboratory and workshop area is 3487 M². A sum of Rs. 50 Lakhs is to be invested in the expansion of canteen, fresh water tank and tube well. The Institute is equipped with state of art classrooms, laboratories, Internet and Library facilities.

It has been this reasoning of keeping pace with the technology that Modi Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2001 to offer B.E. degree courses in the most relevant areas of Technology viz. Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering .
